VERBAL MARKERS OF SUGGESTION IN MODERN UKRAINIAN FAIRY TALE «THE PLACE FOR THE DRAGON» BY YU. VYNNYCHUK

Abstract

In the article verbal markers of suggestion in fairy tale «The Place for the Dragon» by Yu. Vynnychuk are described, according to linguistic, psychological and pedagogical influence of modern fairy tales on school-age youths. The actuality of the research is due to the necessity of thorough linguistic developments with verbal suggestion in the literature curriculum. The topic is important for further study of the role of speech influence in the formation of a healthy, cohesive, mature, intellectual and creative personality; in the information security of Ukrainian society. Verbal suggestion is the form of linguistic and psychological influence that focuses on generating in the recipient of the expected rational and irrational behavior without critical analysis of input information using a range of verbal means. The author verbally has the impact on the modeling of the picture of the world by the addressee-reader. Language suggestion contains coded messages, for the adequate decoding of which you need to have relevant knowledge and experience. Otherwise, misinterpretation of the indirect nomination of suggestion deprives the addressee of subjectivity and creates the illusion of independent choice, accepting others. Suggestion in a literary text is manifested via subtexts that reveal the true meaning. Verbal markers of suggestion help detect and decode it. Suggestiveness is revealed at each of the structural levels of Yu. Vynnychuk's fairy tale «The Place for the Dragon»: lexical-semantic (metaphor, antithesis, aphorism, epithet, comparison), morphological, syntactic, phonetic. It is vividly detected at the lexical-semantic level and least often – at the phonetic. The greatest verbal impact on the recipient is provided by lexical-semantic means, others are auxiliary, they reinforce the suggestive role of tropes and expressive-emotional words. The article emphasizes the importance of neutralizing the direct nomination of the suggestion of the writer's uselessness in the totalitarian world and replacing it with the value of the writer for himself and the humane world in accordance with the correct interpretation of the indirect nomination of verbal suggestion.
