Abstract

The method of reproduction by a Ukrainian-speaking subject of information from the external environment and its embodiment in acoustic-sound and written carriers is described. In this work, language is considered as an informational and symbolic system in which a person plays the main managerial role. One of the main functions of the named system is the reproduction of information from the external environment and its embodiment in written and acoustic-sound carriers. Therefore, the mechanism of information reproduction is represented by the method inherent in the Ukrainian-speaking environment, namely, the modification of ten-syllable parts of speech. The number of modifications of each part of speech is constant and such that it is consistent with the modifications of other parts of speech. This micro-function, which is called information integration, completes the virtual transfer of information to the subject’s memory, where it is stored until it is embodied in acoustic-sound or written carriers. The embodiment of information into an acoustic-sound carrier is realized by the human vocal cords when they are acted upon by a stream of air exhaled through the larynx. The vocal cords are stretched across the larynx and change their position by contracting or relaxing with the help of the muscles to which they are attached. As a result, a set of sound harmonic vibrations of different amplitude, frequency and initial phase is formed, which by their change fix the given information, thus forming an acoustic-sound signal.Quantitative interpretation of the described method is implemented using the concepts of entropy and information, by introducing coefficients of informativeness of the used parts of speech. These coefficients of informativeness outline in the accepted model of information reproduction and the degree of use of information orientations of parts of speech, and also characterize both the essence of reproduced information and the language competence, style of the subject who reproduces this information.
