FEATURES OF THE FUNCTIONING OF UKRAINIAN RELIGIOUS PHRASEOLOGY IN THE INTERNET SPACE DURING THE PERIOD OF THE RUSSIAN-UKRAINIAN WAR

Abstract

The article examines the Ukrainian religious phraseology of the period of the Russian-Ukrainian war and characterizes its functioning in the Internet space. The processes of de-Sovietization and de-atheisation in Ukrainian society focus on the studying of verbal means of religious content, among which religious phraseological units takes a special place. The fact of the occurrence of new phraseology units in Ukrainian language related to the realities of the war increases the relevance of this topic. It is noted that phraseology as an expression of the mentality of the people is an important factor in the formation of the worldview of Ukrainians during the war, therefore its functioning in the Internet space acquires great importance. Since the religious phraseology of the period of the beginning of the war has already been studied, the main emphasis in the article is on the phraseological units that function in religious texts that are common in the Internet space after the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Based on the analysis, it was concluded that Ukrainian religious phraseology has taken an important place in the modern Internet space thanks to the active presence of electronic resources of the UGCC and OCU in it (official websites of churches, magazines, distribution of current religious publications in Ukrainian electronic media, religious communities in social networks, etc.). Continuing the traditions of Ukrainian preaching art regarding the use of treasures of the religious phraseology, current preachers introduce these linguistic resources into a modern context. It was noted that phraseological units with key words-theonyms and biblicalisms are actively functioning, which mainly acquire connotations assonant with the events of the war, and phraseological units, the key words of which are of peace, war and victory have also become widespread. Some of the phraseological units have both religious and national-patriotic connotations.
