THE INTERPRETATION OF THE CONCEPT IN ETHNOLINGUOCULTURAL PARADIGM

Abstract

The article deals with the main approaches to the interpretation of the concept at the present stage of linguistics development, in particular, the principles of concept interpretation in ethnolinguocultural paradigm are demonstrated. At the same time, attention is also drawn to the national picture of the world, the specificity of worldview, world perception and world understanding of each ethnic group. The article introduces the main methods of solving conceptual problems in the linguistic research of recent decades, synthesizes different definitions of the concept “concept”, considers the problems of its structure and modeling possibilities, as well as the language units that objectify them. We highlight the main linguistic approaches to the qualification of the term “concept”. A significant number of modern linguistic works (N. Arutyunova, S. Vorkachev, I. Golubovskaya, A. Zagnitko, V. Karasik, T. Kosmeda, V. Maslova etc.) are analyzed in the course of the study. The relevance of the article is determined by the prospect of studying various approaches to the interpretation of the concept concept as the key term of linguoconceptology, as well as the study of representative models of human knowledge and representations on the subject of the surrounding world, stereotypes, frameworks, prototypes, the concept. The purpose of the scientific reconnaissance is to generalize the works on the research of the concept in ethnolinguocultural perspective, comparison and analysis of the main methods of studying the notion “concept” in the nationalcultural paradigm. It is deduced that ethnolinguocultural concept should be considered as a mental phenomenon, representing ethnocultural specificity of speech. The prospect of the research is an in-depth study of the concept theory to reveal the specifics of thinking of different peoples, the study of methods of interpretation of concepts, awareness of cognitive, cultural and complex aspects, as well as the implementation of analysis and manifestation of ethnolinguocultural specificity of cognitive and language representations of the world.
