LITERARY-CRITICAL CONCEPTS OF YURIY STEFANYK

Abstract

The proposed article provides a comprehensive analysis of literary and literarycritical research of Vasyl Stefanyk’s youngest son – Yuri Stefanyk (pseud. Yuri Klinovy, Yuri Gamorak), included in the book «My sons, my friends», became the material of some publications, articles and partially covered in his epistolary legacy; Based on the literary works of the researcher in particular, as well as the existing few literary critical studies, the main ideological, ideological, scientific and methodological vectors of literary concepts of Yuri Stefanyk are presented, the definitions of which are the main purpose of our article. According to the formed tasks. We analyzed the author’s research («Something about Vasyl Stefanyk’s correspondence», «Vasyl Stefanyk’s first love», «Vasyl Stefanyk (attempt at biography)», «In the century of Vasyl Stefanyk’s birth», «Franco and Stefanyk», «Tragedy and triumph of the Stefanyk family»)», «Stefanyk – as he really was»,»Heroes of Vasyl Stefanyk in reality», «Untrodden Path») as fundamental and exemplary Stefanyknoi reconnaissance; as well as studies of the contemporary Ukrainian literary process and the literature of emigration «Talent without Environment» about Les Martovych; Vasyl Sofroniv-Levytsky, memoirs «On the Death of Todos Osmachka», essay «Yuri Morachevsky, his parents, his friend». Separate individual articles are devoted to the study of the life and work of Sofia Yablonska, Mykola Ponedilko, Olena Teliga, Ulas Samchuk, Pavel Malyar, Emma Andievska); Yuriy Stefanyk’s correspondence was covered, in which his literary, public and cultural-educational activities were covered. As a result, the importance of Yuri Stefanyk’s research both in Ukraine and in diasporic literary studies has been proved.
