ARTISTIC AND PHILOSOPHICAL DIALOGUE WITH GRIGORY SKOVORODA IN THE POETRY OF VASYL SAGAYDAK

The article is devoted to the poetry of Vasyl Sagaidak, whose collection "Easter Rain" (2003) contains poems related to the works of Hryhoriy Skovoroda. The researcher aims to determine the meanings, eidetics and poetics of one of the poems in this collection, namely the verlibra "Throwing like by a pitchfork". The article covers the intertextual phenomena and images of the work, it also explains the position of the author in his dialogue with G. Skovoroda and names the formal features of the work. V. Sagaidak (1945-2006) is a Ukrainian poet of the late XX-early XXI century, in whose legacy an important place is occupied by philosophical poetry. The article focuses on the existential thinking of the poet, it is manifested in particular in the analyzed poem "Throwing like by a pitchfork" The poem is characterized by intertextuality, the text contains quotations from a letter by R.-M. Rilke, a prose work by G. Skovoroda, a poem by E. Malaniuk. Kierkegaard's theory of "either-or" choice is read as an allusion. In the artistic chronotope there are poets and philosophers of different centuries who have a dialogue, replicas of which are their texts. V. Sagaidak quoted G. Skovoroda's prose work "Conversation 1, called Observatorium (Zion)", the poet was interested in philosophical statements about the three worlds, emphasized the importance of the Bible for human understanding of the world and its place in it. The author compares the philosophical positions of R.-M. Rilke and G. Skovoroda, concludes about the common and different in the images of the Bible (Skovoroda) and the angel (Rilke). A quote from Yevhen Malanyuk's poem "August" also joins the textual dialogue, as it alludes to both Skovoroda's and Rilke's texts. The article also contains an analysis of the part of the poem "Throwing like by a pitchfork", which deals with symbols. V. Sagaidak gives Skovoroda's interpretation of the symbol and names a number of symbols that the Ukrainian philosopher used. According to Baroque laws, V. Sagaidak completes his text with a code. His code is a syllabic-tonic verse, at the center of which is bread as a symbol of the meaning of art as a spiritual value. The dominant dialogue, in which G. Skovoroda, S. Kierkegaard, R.-M. Rilke, E. Malanyuk and the author himself, is an existential thought.
